CYPRUS WALKING AND CULTURAL TOUR

Day 1
Arrival to North Cyprus Ercan airport and transfer to your hotel with air-conditioner vehicle. Check in to your Hotel. Snack Food and Drink will be available.
Day 2
Welcome meeting after breakfast, than we will visit Most Famous 10th Century’s St. Hilarion Castle(The Saint Hilarion Castle lies on the Kyrenia mountain range, in Northern Cyprus near Kyrenia. This location provided the castle with command of the pass road from Kyrenia to Nicosia. It is the best preserved ruin of the three former strongholds in the Kyrenia mountains, the others being Kantara and Buffavento)
After we will drive back to Hotel and we will watch a Cypriot family who will cook Special Cyprus Bread “called Corek” olive bread and local dishes for us. After Lunch you can stay around the pool or sea, or visit Ancient Kyrenia harbor and Castle and enjoy your drink around.
Return to hotel afternoon.
Dinner @ Hotel.
Cultural visits: St Hilarion castle, Buffavento castle, Bellapais
Day 3
After breakfast we will drive to west of Island, Guzelyurt (old name Morphou) We will visit St. Mamas Church and Archeology museum, than we will drive to Soli Mosaic City and Roman Theatre, After Lunch visit Vouni excavations and Short walk from Vouni palace to Yesilirmak village (4.5 Km) Easy to moderate. And back to Hotel afternoon 15: 00 - 16:00
Cultural visits: St. Mamas Church, Archeological museum, Yesilirmak Village, Vouni palace excavations. Soloi, ancient Greek city, mosaic floor of the basilica with its wealth of birds, animals and geometric designs and a picture of a swan as well as the amphitheatre. Lunch in Gemikonagi, and Return afternoon to hotel
Dinner at Local Tavern

Option 1(Easy)
After breakfast we will drive to Buffavento Castle after visiting castle start walking to Bellapais Abbey and village, we will walk around 15km.
Packed Lunch on the Mountain and finish at Bellapais village. Free time and visiting Bellapais abbey and return to hotel around 17:00

Day 4
Option 2 (Easy to Moderate 10.Km)
After breakfast we will drive to Buffavento Castle Walking 3-4 hours in the area of Buffavento castle to Bellapais village, visit Bellapais Abbey and village, Lunch at Bellapais and Relax free time, return to hotel afternoon(This walk is bit Difficult)

Day 5
After breakfast we will drive to Nicosia (Lefkosa) capital of North Cyprus. We will visit Selimiye mosque, Great Inn (Buyuk Han) Covered bazar, Arabahmet area,
followed by Lunch Break. After that we will visit Arasta and Ledra Street area (in the North) and free time for shopping and relax and return to hotel afternoon.

Day 6
It’s one of the important day, We will start early today, wake up around 05:00 am, after breakfast at the hotel we will drive to unspoilt area of Cyprus,
“Karpaz peninsular” on our way to Dip Karpaz, we will stop at Local Bakery and will taste local bread, and olive bread, and will continue to our way to Unspoilt Karpaz, once we arrived Karpaz we will have coffee break in the village coffee Shop, and our bus will leave us to walking point, we will start to Walk from sea side. This walk will take us around 2 hour, after walk we will have B.B.Q at the beach. After Lunch we will drive to Magnificent “Golden Sand Beach” we will have free time for swimming and relax in a beautiful Med Sea. After our Swimming and relax Break we will drive to end of the island. Visiting “Apostolandreas Monastery”
We are staying in Dipkarpaz tonight in a Traditional Guest House,
Dinner at Local restaurant next to the Guest house, and village breakfast next Day.
Day 7
We are still in Dipkarpaz, after village breakfast, we will visit Dipkarpaz ancient Olive Press Factory. We are driving to Famagusta visiting; St.Barnabas Monastery, Salamis Ruins, followed by Lunch.
After Lunch we will visit, Othello Castle, old City walls, and free time for shopping or relax
Return to Hotel Sempati afternoon.
Cultural visits: St Barnabas, Salamis’s excavation area, Famagusta cathedral, citadel, and city wall (walking)
Day 8
Wake up, breakfast and Depart to airport, Have a nice Flight and hope to see you again
